Gifted Together
Take a short self-assessment, then name the gifts you see in each other. Gifts are given for the common good, and they are best discerned inside the body.
"To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good." 1 COR 12:7
How has God been using you?

Name a gift you've seen
Write it here, then text or email it to them. Be specific. A short story of when you saw it is worth more than the label.
Gifts others have named in you
When someone calls out a gift in you, add it here. It shows up in your results and in the code you share with your leader.
Invite your group
Name your group to get a link. Anyone who opens it has the group filled in for them, and their results code carries the group name.
Build your group map
Ask each person to finish the self-assessment and send you their results code. Paste all the codes below, one per line. You can paste a whole group text thread and it will find the codes.
Group gift map
Shading is each person's own assessment. The number is how many times others have named that gift in them.
Coverage
For your group time
- Go around the room. Each person reads their top three self-assessed gifts. Then the group answers: where have we actually seen these?
- Look at each person's "others see" list. Did anything surprise you? What story goes with it?
- Which gifts are thin on our group map? Who outside this room carries them, and how do we make room for them?
- Pick one gift per person to use on purpose this month. Name the place and the person it's for.
- Close by praying for one another by name and by gift (1 Pet 4:10).
Seventeen gifts most often seen at work in a local church, grouped into four families. Definitions draw on the TrueWiring Spiritual Gifts Assessment (Greg Wiens) and the Gifted2Serve inventory (BuildingChurch.net). Spiritual gifts may build on a natural talent, but they are always given so each believer can serve their part in the body.
Both full assessments are free online: gregwiens.com/gifts (TrueWiring, 17 gifts) and buildingchurch.net/g2s (Gifted2Serve, 125 questions, 25 gifts including sign gifts).
