Shelter In Place/Tornado

The building’s shelter-in-place locations are the second floor Cafe,  rooms 205/206, rooms 201/202/203 in the elementary hallway, and the back hallway behind the kitchen. All of these locations have no windows and are protected from flying glass. In the Cafe, there are two steel fire doors that should be lowered and closed.

Secure children first followed by adults. Lead children in the pre-K hallway to the Cafe and children in the elementary hallway to the interior rooms 201/202/203. During a service, up to 1000 people will be funneled into these locations so volunteer leads will need to direct people to move in tightly.

In case of a tornado,  everyone should get on their knees and protect their heads with their arms.

Please review the Loop Kids severe weather evacuation routes and the video of our in-person training below for further details.
